Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

This privacy policy explains how Azhaikkiran Madhavan ("we", "us", "our"), operated by THIRUMARAN VELUCHAMY, collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit amsouls.com, shop with us, book a consultation, course, yatra or Thithi Devathai report, or message us on WhatsApp. It is written to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

By using our website or services you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not share your personal data with us.

1. Data we collect

Data you give us

  • Contact and account details: name, mobile number, email address and the one time codes you use to sign in.
  • Order details: delivery and billing address, pincode, GSTIN and business name when you ask for a GST invoice, the products you buy and your order notes.
  • Booking details: for consultations, courses, yatras and memberships, the details asked for on the booking form, such as preferred slots, travel companions, age, ID details needed for travel bookings and emergency contacts.
  • Birth details for Thithi Devathai reports and consultations: name, gender, date, time and place of birth of each person you request a report for. Please share another person's details only with their consent (or a parent's or guardian's consent for a child).
  • Messages: what you write to us by email, WhatsApp, phone, the contact form, reviews and the website assistant.

Data collected automatically

  • Device and usage information such as IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring site and campaign tags, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Cart contents and wishlist, so we can keep your bag and remind you about items you left behind.

We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password. Payments are handled by our payment partner, Razorpay, under its own security standards.

2. Why we use your data

  • To process, pack, ship and deliver orders, raise GST invoices and handle returns, exchanges and refunds.
  • To schedule and deliver consultations, courses, live classes, yatras and Thithi Devathai reports, and to send you joining links, reminders and reports.
  • To sign you in securely with one time codes sent by WhatsApp or email.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support by email, phone and WhatsApp.
  • To send order, booking and delivery updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
  • To send newsletters, offers and festival updates, only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
  • To improve our website, products and services, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Payment processing: Razorpay.
  • Shipping and delivery: our courier partners (such as Shiprocket and Delhivery), who receive your name, phone number and delivery address.
  • Messaging: email delivery (Brevo), WhatsApp Business messaging (Meta and AiSensy) and our phone line provider.
  • Hosting and storage: our cloud hosting and database providers, with servers in India and abroad.
  • Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel, which help us understand visits and measure campaigns.
  • AI assistance: our website and WhatsApp assistant and our team tools use AI services (such as Google Gemini) to draft replies and summaries. Please do not share sensitive information such as payment details in chat.
  • Teachers, hosts and travel partners who deliver a consultation, course or yatra you booked receive the details needed to serve you.
  • Government authorities, courts or law enforcement when required by law.

4. Cookies

Essential cookies keep your bag, sign in and checkout working. Analytics and advertising cookies help us improve the website and measure our campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, though some features such as your saved bag may not.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for at least eight years, as Indian tax law requires. Account and booking data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to resolve disputes. Birth details for Thithi Devathai reports are kept so we can resend or update your report, and are deleted on request. Marketing data is deleted when you unsubscribe and ask us to erase it.

6. How we protect it

Our website runs on HTTPS. Access to customer data is limited to team members who need it, protected by passwords and two factor sign in, and logged. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will inform you and the authorities as the law requires if a breach affects you.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
  • ask us to erase it, unless we must keep it by law (for example, invoices);
  • withdraw your consent to marketing at any time;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and
  • raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To use these rights, write to admin@amsouls.com. We reply within 30 days.

8. Children

Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 except birth details shared by a parent or guardian for a Thithi Devathai report, or details of a child travelling on a yatra with a guardian.

9. Links to other websites

Our pages may link to YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp and other websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
